As of late I've really been into that whole dressed up sporty look. There's just something about that concept of dressing down a nicer look with a baseball cap or dressing up a team shirt with some heels and a clutch that gets me going! ♡ Review: Love & Beauty Nail Polish ♡

Hey guys! sorry for the long pause in posting, school has been so hectic lately! So I recently bought this nail polish and was really hesitant on buying it due to the low price and the fact that it's sold by Forever 21 and not an actual cosmetic chain but I was pleasantly surprised! What truly drawed me to this nail polish was the color! It's the cutest light blue and I used to have one just like it that sadly disappeared :c Anyways, it lasted without a topcoat for about 3 days and I just reapplied it with I top coat so we'll see how long it lasts!

The actual color is called "Light Blue"

Okay so the book was a really random purchase but I've been wanting to get some fashion related books to display in my room/use for inspiration for a while now so when I saw this one at H&M for 3 dollars I couldn't resist!

Since spring is right around the corner, I thought I'd do a post on my spring essentials! Before a season begins I tend to make a list on my phone of my needs/wants for that season. This season was no different! These lists help me keep track of my money and help me not to go crazy while shopping (although I do go on a *little* shopping spree here and there!) but anyways here are some of my spring essentials!

Although they may not be everyone's style, I personally love these jackets! They've been in for a few seasons now but are going to be huge this spring! Pair one with a floral dress for the perfect balance of feminine & masculine.

Pastels scream spring so why not add a little 'spring' to your nails?

I've been wanting these babies for forever so why not get some for spring? They match with everything and give your outfit an instant cool, laid back look.

Sweaters are always a go-to for me no matter the season! These are perfect for spring because they keep you warm without being super bulky!

These glasses make any outfit 10x better! I especially love the ones with the floral appliqué which is a huge trend this coming spring!

Whoo first blog post! So for this post I thought I'd just discuss what I want this blog to be about (: I want it to be mainly about fashion/beauty/life but of course in typical Mounique style I might stray away here and there (food posts anyone?) of course I'll try and keep those to a minimum!
